Database formats

The model manager still works with plain text files as an input for maximum compatibility.

Version 2.0 has been considerably enhanced to handle a variety of data file formats. Data resulting from different softwares are often exported to text with different separators, such as comma, space or tabulation. Model Manager 2.0 is no longer restricted to space separated data files.

In addition, the error detection has been improved, so that most type of errors that can occur during database preparation will be spotted.

Training

The training process now offers total control over what percentage of the database is available for training, comparison and real test.

Predicting

Predictor can now account for relationship between variables, and transform outputs, all this entirely transparently.

It is sometimes very useful to predict a function of the desired output rather than the relevant target itself. When making predictions however, one needs to perform the reverse operation. This is now automatically handled by Predictor.
